My best friend & I rode the Haunted Mansion THIRTEEN TIMES IN A ROW this Sunday, and it took us about 3 hours. (We took this pic just before. I couldn't resist photoshopping it.)
We noticed so many things we usually either miss or don't bother to look for; e.g., counting ghosts, hidden Mickeys, black sheet-covered Leota ball hung above the table Leota, garage door in the attic, motion sensors, etc. Yes, I am that crazy, and no, the song still hasn't stopped re-playing in my head. |

New Zealand Guitar Band Record

This was a gig for New Zealand Music Month where we aimed to have the most guitars playing together at once. We got around 740 of us together which was very cool, but the world record is 6,000 which we will try for next year. By the way my t-shirt says The man with the most guitars wins, quite appropriate don't ya think?

Some huge things have happened since I last posted. I moved away from Charlotte to Atlanta for a few months to intern under a special fx makeup artist there. My father had a heart attack while I was there and then became an even bigger asshole. So, I left Atlanta and moved back to Asheville. I managed to pick up a wonderful boyfriend who moved from Charlotte to be with me here. After him living here for a couple of months with my mother and I we broke up for a month. He moved out into a house with a guy I used to work with and that he currently worked with. Well we get back together and then a month later Demetri shoots himself. We were the last people to see him alive and were also there when his girlfriend discovered his body. He killed himself while we went… |
